We {Me, DH, DD(5), DS(3), DD(20 months), and a friend} are going to WDW in Oct. I was thinking of signing my friend up for one of the special Food & Wine events as a thank-you for helping us out with the kids.

I was thinking the Sweet Sundays sounds like fun. Any reviews? Any other ideas? I would think a dinner would be more fun if you weren't alone. The party for the senses sounds great but we have plans for the Sat night and again I think it would be more fun with someone else. She does like both wine and beer.

The Sweet Sundays are brand new for this year. So there are no reviews from previous years.

I guess it would depend on how outgoing she is. One of the food and wine pairings sounds like it would fit the bill. She would be seated with 4-5 other people. Get to make new friends. Only 1 1/2 hours.

The Party for the senses would really be good but your saturday is booked. You walk around, get some food and wine, eat at a table where you stand. Usually have to share the table with a couple other people. Eat and talk for a few minutes, Move on and repeat the cycle with new "friends".

The food and wine pairings and Brewers Dinners are smaller groupings, and it might be less intimidating than the HUGE Party for the Senses.

I'm planning on skipping PFTS this year and doing mostly the pairings and the Brewers Dinner myself......solo.

The Lunch and Learn is also a lot of fun.
