I would keep it simple - use a small, light umbrella stroller for the airport and cruise ship. Rent a double from Magic Strollers for the parks.

That way, you have the swank stroller with plenty of shade for when you really need it for long-distance walking, but you don't have to lug it to/from/through the airport or terminal. And you have the lightweight and very portable umbrella stroller for short distances (the airport, the ship) with your toddler.

I think you would find a City Mini (single or double) cumbersome, if not overkill, on your cruise.

i chose the one behind the other stroller... as I have traveled via air/land/sea with your age children... why? 1. both will need it at the same time at least once during your trip, also if you do not have a regular double stroller, some of the sit and stands are light and compact and easier by far than the side by side to maneuver. 2. when not being used with the children, especially, when traveling at the airport from one point to another, its great for holding bags etc. 3. free check in on planes etc. much cheaper than renting them elsewhere. As a Mom, who often traveled with 2 little ones, I have found the stroller to be of great use. I will even be bringing a smaller umbrella type stroller for my 4 yr old for our January 2017 cruise, mainly for the travel to the port/cruise, even though we won't use it on the ship... 4. If you bring only one umbrella stroller, undoubtedly, your older child will want a ride too, and 2 strollers are just a pain to handle when dealing with children in airports etc.

Hi, I live in Florida and you're wise to be concerned about your baby & you (or whoever is wearing the carrier) being too hot in August. I loved wearing my babies, but in the humid months of late July, Aug, and Sept it was really very uncomfortable outdoors and I often avoided wearing the little ones then. In your situation I would travel with the umbrella stroller and baby carrier. I would use the umbrella stroller for the 4 year old in the airport or let them walk and use it to push your carry on or diaper bag. Then I would wear the baby in the carrier through the airport. I would rent a double stroller from an off site company to be delivered to the hotel for your resort stay and use it in the parks. Then have both the baby carrier and umbrella stroller available for the cruise. Having the option to wear or use the umbrella stroller for the one year old is nice on the cruise. Sometimes, the indoor venues on the ship can be crowded or in tight quarters. It was nice to wear my babies then, but I liked the umbrella stroller when on deck by the pool or in port. Trying to store a double stroller and all the luggage in a cabin is really tough. Been there, done that, and it wasn't pretty. Especially, if your going to need a pack and play set up in the cabin for the one year old.

I would go for a sit & stand. It will make it easy on you, as not to have to try and maneuver those huge double strollers in crowded places. Also, will make it easy for your 4 year old, to walk around and take a break if needed. Good luck! Have a wonderful trip!

I would bring an umbrella and Bjorn for the airport and cruise and rent a double City mini for WDW from a vendor like Kingdom Strollers
