I will Be at Disney's Dolphin resort from 3/13 leaving to go to Holiday Inn Universal on the morning of the 18th. What is the best way to get around seeing check out from the Dolphin is at 11am and check in at the Holiday Inn is at 3pm Thought about renting a car for 1 day but would need to pick it up at the Dolphin and return it to the Holday INN. Any Ideas or logical solutions??
Thanks in Advance!!

We always rent a car at the airport for our entire stay in Orlando, even though many days the car just sits in a hotel parking lot. We use it to get to and from the airport, as well as between hotels. For our family of four, usually staying a week or so, it is actually cheaper to do this than pay for airport and hotel transfers. You also get the added convenience of moving at your own pace, and having a way to get to the grocery store for breakfast and snack foods for the room. There are great deals to be found on rental cars in Orlando. We used Priceline last year and rented a Geo Metro for $12/day!

seadooman:

Go to www.basshotels.com and sign up for their Priority Club card. Holiday Inn offers it for free and it gives you lots of nice perks, including late check out.

I have used mine for EARLY check in also at the Holiday Inn I-Drive in September and at the Holiday Inn Family Suites in January. If you go in and get the number today, you can add that information to your reservation so they'll know that you are a member when you check in.

I've found it to be a very big asset at check-in and check out.

Hope it works for you!
