Need some suggestions for anniversary trip

We are doing and adults only anniversary trip this September and will be on the DxDDP. I have a few ADR'S already, dinners at CG, Ohana, and HDDR(although we may skip it this trip).

That leaves us with 10 more credits. I figure we could do 2 more signature dinners, 1 signature lunch, and 4 TS breakfasts or lunches. We would love to try some signatures but haven't really eaten at any besides CG, so I'm not sure which ones to try. Since we don't have the kids with us, we really want to enjoy the best meals we possibly can this trip. We aren't super adventurous with our tastes though, and love the basics: good steaks, Italian, seafood, etc.

Some of the signatures we haven't tried but look like we may like them: Flying Fish, Boathouse, Yachtsman, Citricos, Narcoosees, Jiko, Artist Point, Brown Derby, and Tiffins(ROL package?).

The TS that I've tried to go to on other trips but been vetoed by the kids are Kona Cafe, Boma, and Raglan Road, so I was thinking about trying them. I really don't know anything about any of the new Disney Springs places.

So the suggestions I need:

3 signatures ( 2 dinners and 1 lunch)

4 TS lunches or breakfast

Thanks for the input!

While I haven't tried these, based on favorites from family/friends, I'd suggest Morimoto Asia and Boathouse in DSp or Le Cellier in Epcot.

Since you like Italian, I'd recommend Via Napoli in Epcot and perhaps do a package at Mama Melrose for FPs to Fantasmic.

On the signature front my suggestions would be Jiko, Tiffins, and Narcoossee's. Jiko and Tiffins are serving some of the most interesting food on property and offer things you'd likely never find at home. I'm a huge seafood fan, so Narcoossee's is a got to for us. Like CG you can see the MK fireworks from there which is a lot of fun. We ate at all 3 on our latest trip, so you can see my reviews in my latest dining report if you are interested. We traditionally loved Flying Fish but it was a slight miss for us on our one visit there since the refurb.

For table services if you are looking for breakfast Kona is our all time favorite, but on the dining plan it likely isn't a great option since its pretty cheap. We've also enjoyed the breakfast buffets at The Wave (my personal favorite), Trails End, Boma, and Tusker House.

For lunches, Sanaa hands down is a not to miss. Best non-signature restaurant on property IMO. I'd also suggest checking out Homecoming in Disney Springs. We had a great southern dinner there. Other lunch places we enjoy are Yak n Yeti, Skippers Canteen, and Via Napoli to name a few.

Boma is terrific -lots of choices for all kinds of tastes plus the benefit of an evening at AKL!
Citricos is another wonderful restaurant
Raglan Road is fun

Tusker House had a great breakfast buffet with characters

There are so many lunch choices depending on the park you are in and how much time you want to spend eating -- Yak and Yeti in AK. many of the World Showcase restaurants, Liberty Tree in MK, 50's Prime at HS...walk to Beaches and Cream

Lots to decide for sure!

Flying Fish is amazing and the new refurb is beautiful.

We are trying Yatchsman for the 1st time this year for Father's day, I have heard good things.

Via Napoli has great Italian and pizza. Our kids love Kona Cafe, really good food.

We loved The Boathouse. DH still talks about it. We like Grand Floridian Cafe for lunch. Via Napoli was great and we liked getting a pitcher of sangria :)
We stayed at OKW once and Olivia's is a hidden gem but off the beaten path.
No doubt, The Wave is a fantastic breakfast. We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the buffet.

Every restaurant will have its champions, so the ones I suggest are simply those where I've had the most consistently good meals and experiences.
SIGNATURES: For lunch, I'd definitely do CG Brunch. Just ate there today, and there are plenty of wonderful options from sushi (which admittedly doesn't seem to fit your taste buds), to chicken, to cheeses, to beef, to pastries. You also get unlimited mimosas, though you can order a bloody mary for $15 and choose many "toppings" from the bloody mary fixings bar. Obviously, great views, and our service was very good overall. For dinner, you have several options:
Jiko: Excellent food, great service, topnotch wine list. Plenty of options for your needs. While the flavor profiles of the beef, fish, et. al. may be slightly different than traditional fare, it's certainly not exotic.
Artist Point: Very romantic, superb food, consistently good service, and a solid wine list. The ambiance sets this place apart from most other World eateries. Arrive early and ask for a window seat where you can catch the geyser and look over the court yard area. In addition to bison and salmon, they have beef, pork, and chicken dishes.
Il Mulino: Again, excellent food and good service. Wine list is notable. You can also get small plates.
TS: Lots of good options out there, but Sanaa also tops my list. Sure, it's considered a bit exotic, but like Jiko, it's truly not as unusual as most think. The spices they use may be true to the cuisine, but they don't overwhelm you. They've managed to tamp down the adventurousness of the dishes to make them more palatable to more tastes. I especially recommend the full bread service at Sanaa. It's one of the top values in the World, and it's both delicious and filling. Paradiso 37 can be a bit loud, but the guacamole side is plentiful and only $10. Nachos are solid and around $15-$16. It's not an exceptional place but it is solid. Kona is usually a good place for surprisingly tasty food in a unique resort. Service has ranged from very good to average.

i wouldn't "waste" any credits on breakfast--you lose the appy, plus not cost effective--unless you want a buffet like Park Fare. (strawberry soup, yum!)
i'd use snack credits.

Agreed. Yes I was kind of shying away from breakfasts, maybe doing only one.

Great replies from all, keep them coming!

I sort of know what you mean but we ways do a couple of buffets breakfasts on the DDP, typically Cape May, 1900 or Tusker House. And now that I know that the Wave does bottomless Mimosa... It is an adults only trip!

For us, Narcoossees is our go to sig. Especially if you like seafood and steak :-)

CG Brunch is underrated for sure. IMO, it was a perfect morning to sleep in and head into MK after.

Il Mulino is great but not on DDP. Just a heads up.
