Need some site info

I'm going to try and fax in a request for a site and need some site numbers. My first choice is the 1100 loop, then the 1500 loop then the 2000 loop. Looking for a site close to the comfort stations. I know the chances are slim of getting a specific site but worth a shot.

Also anyone have the fax number?

Thanks

I'm sorry, but the first problem I see is that your "request" has two different levels of sites.

1500 & 2000 are partial hook up sites
1100 is a full hook up loop

What did you reserve?

The first rule for special requests is to ask for something they can give you. They can't change your class of service as it is a change in pricing.

Just got a partial so guess it'll be 1500 or 2000 then.

2000 has 2 comfort stations....so none of the sites are much of a walk to a CS......1500 only has 1CS, but I believe its in the center of the loop, so again...all sites are pretty close. 1500 is a relatively small loop, with somewhat smaller sites....2000 is a BIG freakin area, needing 2 CSs...and the sites are a little larger than 1500 for the most part.

If you have, or plan to rent a golfcart....Id suggest 2000...its tucked away from all the activities and is quieter. But if you aint cartin', ya kinda NEED to be near all the activities...and 1500 is smack dab in the middle of all the fun stuff!!! Cant really go wrong either way.

Just curious...are you guys tenting, or pop-up?

Tenting (with ac :) )...gets pretty humid on Kelleys Island in August where we usually go. Wwe have a 12x18 cabin tent and an 18 foot round canopy, a 12x15 canopy + all the comforts of home, small fridge, gas stove with an oven, big ole camping table, dish table that is a perfect height for the kids to use :thumbsup2 , two very cumphy fold up lounge chairs to lounge in and watch :magnify: the kids at the dish table popcorn:: , there really isn't any roughing it when we go and we're use to going two weeks at a time. We're only doing one week at the Fort because we really couldn't decide which kid to sell to pay for the second week, they kept catching the quarter in mid air we were flipping to try and decide and running away with it:scared: quick lil boogers when they need to be. Can't really do a tow behind camper, we go up to Lake Erie a lot and drag the boat along. I have a Dodge megacab with a hemi so towing a camper pulling a boat wouldn't be a problem except for getting about 1/2 mpg. We're toting the bikes along with us so wherever we get is ok as far as distance, figure we can just lasso us one a dem der golfy carts to pull us around on the bikes  just them 3am "potty runs" for the wife and daughter the closer to the station the better...and of course the :laundy: too.

Are any parts of these two loops more shady than other parts?, guess that would be the second thing to look at.

Not that you said you were going to do it anyway cause of the mpg loss but, I do believe in Florida towing trailers in tandem is not allowed. I know its done and I've seen it but, I if I'm not mistaken that's a no no.

I know this is a little off topic (OP - sorry for the hijack) and I know the info is somewhere else in here, I just can't seem to find it.

When and to whom should I make my request for a loop? I know it is not guaranteed, but I figured I would give it a try.

We are tent camping and do not plan on renting a cart. I would like to get the 1500 loop. We will be there in late Sept.

Should I call and have them note it on my reservation and also call FW when it gets closer to our arrival and have them note it?

Thanks and sorry for the repeat question
