Lately in vmk, I've been kinda frustrated... I need some tips to get inferno. All my friends are getting them from staff games and quests, such as alphahawkboy getting it from the tester quest. I really want inferno, and it is my vmk dream.

I've been trying to get inferno for about 6 months now, and you who are my friends know that, but I don't know what the best attempt is. I've tried posting on here, making a room in vmk, and pretty much everything there is to try. I've offered beta, offered stitch and other stuff, and here's my offer right now:

GOLD CANDLE
Green explorer shirt w/ camera
4x DLR PUMPKINS
5* Bat magic
2x 5* Invisibility magic
2x 5* Teleportation magic
2x 5* Fireworks magic
Brown cowboy shirt w/ vest
Brown cowboy shirt w/o vest

I am doing my best to try, and people just say to keep trying and eventually I'll get it, but it just hasn't seemed to apply to me. Any suggestions would be great!

I've seen Inferno go for a lot more stuff. Especially lately.
And I mean a lot of retired quest and beta. :(

I've been playing for over a year and I also have never gotten Inferno.

I too think you just need to keep building that pile you have going. Its got some great items in it. Adding sparrow and stitch goes a long way in an inferno offer also, hardly ever do you see it trade without one or both of those in the offer.

Good Luck!

I trade inferno all the time. I get it and I trade it off. If you want honest information you offer is very short. It is usually 3 windows or MORE if mildly rare items like things that were sold in the game but not any more, regular quest, that type of stuff. It can be one window if super rare like beta or stuff like clocks, snowmen and that class of popular and rare. Most offers have a stitch or sparrow to be considered serious.

I get inferno just about every time I seriously try for it. Here is my secret. I don't just offer blindly. I ask the person the things they like. Most start out saying rare. I get more specific with them so I can offer the very things that will get their hearts pounding. When I was trading inferno, offers with Fire Windows got my attention. I just really liked them and I never traded an inferno without some in the offer. Everyone has an item that they really hope to get in the inferno trade. Find out what that is. Then keep adding until you have what they want.

There is nothing more annoying than having someone open a trade window with you and then just start throwing everything they have in the window in the hopes of getting your inferno. That happens to me about evdery time I open a trade window with someone I don't know.

Take some time and find out what that person wants for it. Everyone has some idea, they are reluctant to tell you, I guess they want you to read their minds but with some prodding you will be able to find out.

Now that doesn't mean that everyone has to do it that way I am telling you from my own experience. The offers I have made that were accepted and the offers I have seen that were serious.

You can search inferno on the trades board and that might give you a better idea of what people are offering. At least you will know what you are trading against.

Yea I really need inferno too, as well as stitch hat, sparrow, and green flips. But mostly inferno and stitch. I tried building my offer, putting all the rare I got in my offer room, but I still barely have anything. I trade practically all the rare I had to get my bird hat back which I foolishly traded twice because the offer had what i most wanted and I ended up trading those too. Then I traded my black ears as well and had to trade alot more rare to get those back, thus leaving me with almost nothing. Plus the fact that I've been scammed alot, forcing me to trade alot for some of the stuff back. So I'm still trying, although I will never succeed.

I have a fairly long trading guide I wrote up a couple months ago. But I'll try to summarize most of it...

First, learn your item values. Knowing what everything is worth is a huge help to putting together a good offer. A lot of people will list things and say they are rare when they are not. That loses respect from a lot of traders. So be sure you know your values.

Secondly, patience is important. There's a lot of times your offer will be rejected. You just have to keep trying. For every inferno I've gotten, I've been rejected 25+ times.

Thirdly, keep trading for smaller things and building up to bigger things. Don't be satisfied with having only a few rare. While you're waiting for inferno to be offered or your offer to be accepted, just keep trading. Keep building to a better offer. And keep increasing your inventory. You never know what you will need to create an offer that will win the trader over.

Finally, here's a part of my guide that specifically talks about inferno:

Before you can even think about trading for inferno, you have to know what it's worth. Look for those inferno threads. See who wins and look at their offer. Try to create an offer similar to that by collecting. Collect other stuff as well. Be patient. Wait for it to be up for trade again. Sometimes an inferno is up for trade every other day. Sometimes there's no infernos for trade for a month. Patience. Collect. Build. When an inferno is offered, look at what the owner wants for it. Do not just throw any old offer up saying, here's my offer. NO! Look at what they're looking for. Modify your offer to fit what they want. If you don't have what they want. Trade what you do have for what they want. If they don't have anything in particular they're asking for, watch and see which offers they say they like. You'll see common items that they like in those offers. Mold your offer to have those items in it. WHAT THE OWNER WANTS IS WHAT YOU OFFER. That is the big key that many do not seem to understand.

For example. The easiest inferno trade involving more than 5 items was this. A girl posted that she had inferno for trade and was looking for specific things for it. A Grand California Pin, Pirate 1/5 Pin, Disneyland Hotel Pin, Paradise Pier Hotel Pin, Tomorrowland 8/9 Pin, Full Inner Space Pin set, Cowboy Pants and Hat, Full Green Explorer Suit and a Top Hat. The first four people that posted, you'd think they stopped reading after "Inferno for trade." They offered pirate quest, snowmen, candy cauldrons, etc. Only 2 of those 4 offers had something on her list. And even then only 1 item. I did not have the explorer suit or inner space pin set. So I went off and hit the trade rooms. After 4 hours, I got it and posted my offer of EXACTLY EVERYTHING she asked for. Nothing more. Nothing less. Meanwhile, she had gotten more offers of Stitch Hats, blue boxes, red crates, etc. Yet, an hour after I posted my offer, she chose me. Why? Because I had what she needed. Plain and simple.

Dancing inferno magic- it has a ring of fire around your feet while you dance. It can only be won by staff games, and is worth so much.

I think that the offers for inferno are incredibly insane - in my humble opinion, inferno is just not worth 3 windows worth of beta - and people put stitch hats in the offer! how nuts! Stitch hats are BY FAR more rare than inferno, yet people are asking for stitch, sparrow and assorted beta for ONE inferno. I, for one, will never trade that much extremely rare stuff for one not so rare item.

Unfortunately in life, value of things are determined by demand. Yes, Stitch is fewer in number, but inferno is desired more. Sort of like with the PS3 and Wii...or even TMEX. I mean, I personally would not wait in line a week just for a game system that will be $100 cheaper in 6 months and will have much better games. Not to mention the one system that went for $9000. However, with inferno, I think every single one I traded for was worth all that I've traded for them. So it really depends on the person and how badly they want the object in question.

I'm with you on this. :)

And it's one of the main reasons why I don't have it.

Right now I'm more geared toward a stitch hat. Any tips on getting these? Because I will have to trade for one if I do not go to DLR this winter break before they retire. I just have to get my parents to take us there and I will have my stitch hat! I mean it should be easy for me to get a stitch hat and other things that come out to DLR considering my location of course, but I can't get everything so I have a problem. And after I get my stitch hat, then I will go for inferno. Although my heart would pound out of my chest if I get offered inferno right now. Same with sparrow and green flips. But if I get sparrow or green flips before I get inferno and stitch hat, I would trade the sparrow for inferno and a stitch set or the green flips for two infernos, a sparrow suit, and a stitch hat (maybe set). But if I get sparrow or green flips while I have inferno AND a stitch hat then I would keep them.

I traded for mine about 8-9 months ago or so.. here are some items I can remember trading:

10 sorcerer hats
10 top hats
10 rocket couches
8 teleport magic
8 spooky magic
8 fireworks magic

My BFF has much more tolerance for trading than I do, so I supplied the goods, and she did the dirty work. There was alot more in the offer, but it no doubt took a leader to accomplish.

You know that you can only get the Stitch collection by booking a trip to stay in a DL resort?
It's not something you get just by going to the park and picking up a card. :(

I know that. That's what I was talking about.

OH. OK. Because that's not what I was understanding. I went back and re-read what you said and it seems as though you think that you just walk into the park and get it. :confused3
