Do the characters sign autograph's during the sail away celebration? Is it a good idea to get an autograph book before getting on the cruise since the stores don't open while we are in port? are the ones on board just for autograph's or do they have the photo sleeves in them?

My DDprincess: loves getting all her signatures and I wouldn't want to her miss any of them.

I also saw the thread to bring a shirt/pillowcase to get signatures, have added it to my packing list.

One more thing...excursions on Grand Cayman and Cozamel...DD will be almost 5 at sailing can anyone recommend one, my DH really wants to see the ruins, are they worth the $$ and time? or would the one with the aquarium, etc be a better time for us all?

Thanks,
:wave2:

Usually you are informed of specific times for Autographs, the princesses etc have a table down in the Atrium and you can obtain all of the signatures in one go.

Keep looking at the information 'Navigators' for times that they will all be available.

I think on the specific shows they do not have autographs.

We went to WDW before so we already had the books but didnt use them on the first day.

I had a 5 yo with me,

Cayman we did the ISLAND tour Stingays, Hell and Tutle farm was excellent.

Cozumel We did the Dolphin discovery was also very good and against Orlando a 5yo was ok.

Some of the Ruin tours have age resitrictions re travel time check the DCL site.

There were no opportunities during the sail away party, although DS6 did have Capt. Mickey all to himself in the Atrium deck 4 when we boarded. He could have gotten an autograph if we had the book out, but we got some great video and pictures. There is also a phone number to call that will list the days appearances. If you wait to get the book I think it will be a DCL book (I could be wrong though), that you can't get anywhere else. We got ours from our TA ahead of time so it is regular Disney.

You need to check as DCL is very strict on excursion ages and under 5 may be too young for most of them. Stingray City in GC is run by many private tour companies who take children of any age and are very reputable. Capt. Marvin's, Soto's, Nativeway, etc are many.
