Need some info on the pools

Hi! I haven't stayed at all the resorts yet so the only pools I know about are AKV Jambo, SSR and OKW. I am planning on hopping on our next trip and have a couple of questions.

1st- Even though I've stayed there I haven't had to use the locker rooms at AKV Jambo house, there are showers there aren't there? I thought there were pool showers at all resorts but when we hopped to SSR in May they only have 1 shower and it's in the spa.

2nd- Which pools have zero entry? Our only requirements for the pools we go to are zero entry and a place for at least two people to shower at the same time. (In separate stalls. Keep your minds clean people!!! )

I can't answer the question about showers, but of DVC resorts, BCV (Stormalong Bay) has zero entry, and so does AKV-Kidani. BLT will have it, too. VWL does not. BWV does not.

Of the non DVC resorts, GF and Poly also have zero entry.

You'd have to be staying at BCV to use Stormalong Bay. Pool hopping not allowed here.

And you'd have to be staying at AKV Jambo or AKV Kidani to use those pools since pool hopping isn't allowed to their pools either. But staying at Jambo you can use Kidani's and staying at Kidani you can use Jambo's however

And it is expected that when BLT opens pool hopping there will not be permitted.

Thanks for the info! CBR also has zero entry now for non DVC resorts. Are we allowed to hop to non-DVC resorts? I didn't think we were but that would solve my problems because I know Poly has multiple showers.

Anyone have anything to add about the showers?

iirc, members are allowed to pool hop to non-DVC resorts ( I'll try to jump onto the member site now to check ). ETA - yes hopping to non-DVC resorts allowed. just fyi, there are block-out dates during year for hopping & if resort (DVC or non-DVC) determines their pool is at capacity they may decline to accommodate member's who want to pool hop there.

I think OKW has multiples although I can't say 100%; we haven't used any pool shower facilities.

No bracelets at Jambo house when we were there in May or any other time I've been there.

We just got back today. We used both the Jambo pool and Kidani pool and they did not issue bracelets. The Kidani pool did have a gate that required room key cards for access.

Both of those pools are zero entry. A great advantage for those with little ones! Jambo pool is bigger, Kidani has better big slide, small kiddo slide and kids play area.
