hello there.

my friend and i both made our high school's show choir this year. our summer project is to get ready to perform a duet by the first week of school. well, we are working together. things have gotten crazy, so now its almost august and we still havent made our song choice. it needs to be any sort of song that has been in a broadway musical. high school appropriate, of course. i was thinking "anything you can do, i can do better", but my friend isnt too big on the idea. i think it would be the perfect song, and it IS show choir, so i think we could make it really cute with a little bit of acting. but its not worth getting in a fight about, so im just on the hunt for another song. we are both sopranos, and can hit those high notes.

the only thing i could come up with was out tonight from rent.
im trying to find an edited version.
but i dont know how that would be with two girls singing it?

any ideas and opinions would be GREATLY appreciated :)

- thank you.

I feel pretty from West Side Story.
Seize the Day from Newsies. (I'm pretty sure that was never on stage though)
For Good from Wicked.
Angel of Music from Phantom of the Opera.

Something from Mary Poppins, Little Mermaid?

The little mermaid would be cool! Maybe like Part of your world, you could try and make it fit for to people :):thumbsup2

::yes::

I'd say something from RENT but it's not very school-appropriate.
EDIT:
Well...hmm..there are some "appropriate" songs from RENT.

What You Own, Another Day.

I've been looking up for more but the ones I find aren't appropriate either and I don't know how you could edit it. Lol.

Good Luck though! If I find some more I'll post them.

what you own - rent would also be a really good one.
