Need some help planning!

Hey DISers! I'm going to be in California July 16-July 21 and I'm wondering what you guys think will be the best days to visit DL and DCA crowd wise? I have a 4 day Park Hopper Ticket. I would like to go on the 59th anniversary, but I've heard that its EXTREMELY busy on the anniversary.

Yes, I think the actual anniversary date will be crowded. Probably not quite as crazy as next year (for the 60th), but still busy.

Are you staying onsite? If not, I would consider starting in whichever park is not having EMH/MM.

Other than that, I think any of the days during your trip will be busy. It's the middle of summer so things will be busy regardless of the day. I would probably opt to go whichever days work best for you and your style of touring.

Definitely go on Saturday - AP holders are blocked out for Saturdays so the park will still be busy but not like you would think. Have fun!

Just to clarify, SoCal Select, SoCal, and Deluxe APs are blocked. Premium and Premier APs are not blocked (there are no block out dates with the top two APs). Still, as PaintsWindColors said, there are some reports indicating that Saturdays are the least busy days in the summer due to the block out of three of the five AP levels.
