Hi!
We just decided (last minute) to go to Orlando for a mother/daughter trip, and we leave in just 14 days.
Our plane arrives in Orlando in the evening June 22
We have booked a week at Marriott Grande Vista from June 24 - July 1
So, we need a place to stay from June 22 - June 24
Maybe in the Disney Springs area or at International Drive area.
We don`t have a car, so we will need some transportations alternatives.

I have pre book a hotel at I-Drive, but I can cancel that one.
Any suggestions for a ok hotel, maybe with a breakfast and "free" transportation to the parks would be a good thing.

Hope my english is ok? I am from Norway, and it has been a while since I have been writing in English.
Thank you, from Adèle Marie

Your English is FAR better than many of our Norwegian, believe me. International Dr is a good place to be. I would prefer the Disney Springs resorts because you can get to DS and other activities without too much issue. You can check Mousesavers for discounts at Disney Springs resorts.

Disney Springs hotels will offer you the best park transportation since they actually go to the parks and run often. Most shuttles from hotels will be more limited and require a changing of buses. You can check prices on the DisneySprings hotel site posted above, check rates through Mousesavers or look at the hotel websites direct. This would always be my first pick without a car.

If you are only doing Disney I would pick something closer to Disney than Universal as you may get better shuttles. Any resort you book, carefully read what their shuttle involves. Are there fees? Do you have to make reservations? What is the schedule? And where do they take you to?

Thank you so much for the advice, we have still not "landed" on anything, but well "get there" :)

I had a good experience one last minute trip finding a room for rent in a house through AirBnB. It did not feel awkward as I was hoping it wouldn't since others staying there were doing the same thing I was. I got my own key to my room to hold onto & a code to the house to come & go as I pleased. And I took Uber to the parks for around $10-15 one way (You could also opt to take Lyft to the parks). It worked out well. You can also find a private condo for rent on the site if you don't want to stay in a house with others.
