We are WDW vets and always stay onsite. It's a huge part of the trip for us. We typically rent DVC points and stay in a villa. However, we are trying to cut cost for our DLR trip and it just seems the most plentiful (and closest) options are offsite hotels.
So, there are 6 of us (two adults, two teens, two children). We like our space for sure, and really prefer two bathrooms as I have one teen who is a bathroom hog. We share one hotel room (like a suite) on road trips and I am always glad it is only for one night at a time. We just don't all sleep good in the same room (really light sleepers).
We want to walk to the parks and are not renting a car. The walkability is one of our main reasons for trying DLR.
I currently have a room booked for BWPPI but I am definitely concerned the space is too small despite the occupancy fitting us. I really like Anaheim Desert Resort's family suite (two rooms, 4 Q beds, 2 bath) as this would be perfect for us but every date I check, those rooms are all booked. And it just doesn't seem to be as popular of a choice as other hotels. But yet, that particular room category is booked solid for months...Is there anything else like that very, very close?
Any suggestions? Thank you!
