We are on the dining plan. I have made all of my table service
reservations and am now looking for some advise on good counter
service. So far, Wolf Gang Puck Express sounds good. Some of our
counter service will be breakfast, some lunch & one dinner.
Let me know what you think, thanks!

We love the Columbia Harbour House in MK, it's nice and quiet upstairs. I love the tuna sandwich! Pecos Bill is great for the fixing bar, the hamburgers are great!

At Animal Kingdom the Flaming Tree is very good too, it doesn't have AC, that would be the only thing against it.

We love Tusker House in AK - DH got 1/2 Rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans and I got Salmon, Rice and green beans as entrees, plus 2 drinks and huge slabs of chocolate and carrot cakes for dessert. We saved the desserts for later - we were so stuffed! We couldn't believe we got all that for a CS.

Wolfgang Puck Express is a great choice for a dinner CS - I got the chicken Ceasar Salad (HUGE), DH got a pizza. For dessert, we got a cookie and a brownie for later.

Epcot - I'm partial to the fish & chips, but that's more of an addiction than anything else :teeth: We enjoyed the Electric Umbrella in FutureWorld as a family

MGM - haven't really eaten much here, come to think of it. We'll probably do Pizza Planet next trip.

MK - We enjoy Pecos Bills, but they only offer a peanut butter brownie thingy for dessert, which none of us care for, so we'll try somewhere else next trip.

We only used 1 CS for breakfast, and frankly don't think they are worth it. We would often get fruit salad as a dessert option with a CS and save it for the next day's breakfast. We also used snack credits for breakfasty items. We tended to eat lunch early (tip from DIS to avoid crowds), so this was fine for us.

Don't know where you are staying, but we found the food court at POFQ was great - we were staying at POR and took the boat to FQ for supper - very yummy with a Creole flair.

Cosmic Rays at MK has GREAT ribs and chicken, mashed tatars, veggies if you're looking to fill up and use the most for your dining plan.

Biggest must do after WPE is Pecos Bills in MK get a burger and fries and take a trip to the toppings bar you can get grilled onions, mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, pickes and melted cheese (awesome for your fries) If your craving hotdogs go to Caseys in MK great hotdogs! Cosmic Rays has the most variety for the CS places in the parks from burgers, wraps, salads, soups and chicken and ribs. I hear Tusker House in AK is awesome I plan on trying this in Aug we normally get turkey legs here. MGM we like Pizza Planet but I want to try ABC Commisarry they have some very different items to be a CS place..

We ate at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot, it has a wide variety of food. Cosmic Rays in MK has a lot to choose from. However, our favorite was Flame Tree in AK. We did not like Pecos Bill's child's menu (Jan. 06), but it was fine for adults.

MK: Cosmic Rays - The chicken/rib platter was actually really good.

Epot: Tangeriene Cafe, Morocco

DTD: Earl of Sandwich

AK: Tusker House

We stayed at the All Stars and enjoyed the food courts also

Another vote for the Columbia Harbour House tuna sandwich. It was fresh, delicious and a nice change from the burgers and chicken fingers.
Tusker House at the AK is great. The fried chicken sandwich was awesome.
Tangerine Cafe at Epcot was good, different and a lot of food.
MGM doesn't have great CS. But we were satisfied at the Backlot Express.

I've made note of everyone suggestions, thanks!
What about at some of the resorts?? We like to check out other resorts
when we are there. We are staying at POR. I heard the Pepper Market at
CSR is good. Anyone here anything about that?

I can tell you what to avoid.

Magic Kingdom all are good, not great but there aren't any I'll never return to here. My favorites are Columbia Harbour House, Casey's Corner, Plaza Pavilion and the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor.

Epcot all are good except 2 on my list of never to return to thats Liberty Inn and Lotus Blossom Cafe. My favorites are Boulangerie Patisserie-France, Kringla Bakeri-Norway, Tangierine Cafe-Morocco.

MGM avoid almost all counter serve places here. Other then ice cream or maybe some quick fries all are awful, some inedible. There is one exception here Starring Rolls Bakery.

Animal Kingdom all are good. I like the Chakrandi Chicken Shop. Flame Tree Barbecue and Tusker House.

DH really enjoyed Flame Tree Barbecue in AK.

I like:
Pinocchio Village Hous in MK(go during "off" mealtime hours though or the place is packed)
Electric Umbrella in Epcot
Pizza Planet in MGM
Cosmic Ray's in MK

Curious, does the tuna have onion? Thanks

MK - Columbia Harbor House is very good.
EP - Sunshine Seasons (sandwiches, healthy food)
DS - ABC Commissary had good chicken fingers and fries, a nice big place with plenty of booths
