Need some advise...I booked a dinner 7:15 pm at CRT for 10/1...not knowing at the time it was during the MMNSSHP...will it be too late to attend the parade if we purchase the tickets...or should I cancel the reservation all together. I'm also curious how long the dinner is?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I would cancel it. :( The special night is only for a small amount of time and you won't want to miss the excitement to eat!

But if you'd like to do both CRT and the party, it can be great fun if you do an early dinner. That's what we did, and it worked out great. We booked a 4:00 dinner at CRT, and had party tickets for that night. We got finished at CRT just before 5:30, went to the Rose Garden & got our tickets scanned & got our party wristbands, trick or treat map & bags. And then we did a couple of rides until the party began at 7:00...it was great to be in the park long before the party began (no long lines of party-goers getting wristbands--when we got our party stuff at 5:30, no one was in line.) That early dinner in the castle (which has some Halloween decor on the tables, even) was wonderful way to start off our Halloween party night.

Since we knew we'd be up late that day, we actually slept in, then had Boma breakfast buffet around 9:30...then went to AKL just to see Nemo show that we'd missed earlier in the week. Took a pool break after that, then headed to MK around 3:00 to make that CRT dinner...actually got to park just in time to see the tail end of the parade. Was a great day at MK for us.

I would cancel the CRT.

If you are going to spend the money for the MNSSHP I would not waste my time eating. There's so much to do during the party you won't have time for everything. It's better to enjoy the parade, Hallowishes fireworks, Villains show, meet and greets, trick or treating and anything else that's exclusive to the party.

As a PP said, if you can get an earlier ADR for CRT so that you're done before 7 that would be perfect.

And now, I've got "Boo to You" running through my head! :)

Thanks for all the great advice....was able to get an earlier time 5:40....might be cutting it close, but at least its better than 7:15 pm

Thanks again!

They normally have 2 parades during the party, an early & a later one so You could plan to do the second parade if you think you will still be cutting it too close. Your new earlier Dinner time will allow you to enjoy most of the MNSSHP festivities. From my experience the later parade is less crowded especially if you watch it from the Frontierland area rather than on Main Street. Of course they may decide at some point to cut back to one parade during these special events if they haven't already. We always planned to view the later one due to the crowd issues and I don't like having to rush from the parade viewing to the Firework viewing.
