Need some creative imput please!!!

I tried posting this in the cake thread but it seemed to get lost. So, I shall try here!

I am in some serious need of everyones help!

My younger sister is celebrating her 24th bday during our October trip. She is always talking about wanting a fancy cake and I thought this was the perfect time to surprise her with one!

We will be doing Narcooses one night so I was thinking of having the GF bakery make her cake. My budget is around $100 so hopefully we can get a bit extravagant. Her favorite Disney movie is Bambi, with her favorite character being Thumper.

Does anyone have ideas about what we could do with this? I was thinking something with fondant with chocolate cake and strawberry mousse and fresh strawberry filling. Other than that, i'm struggling!!! HELP!!!!!!!!

Oh, I forgot to mention we are looking at an 8 inch cake. I've heard rumors that it is getting pretty spendy to have fondant used; anyone know if that is true?

Thank you for the link! I'm just looking for some styling ideas in regards to a thumper cake. Maybe i'll just let the bakery use their creative magic.
