Need Some Advice

I just read this whole thread and I have to say KUDOS to the OP.
You are such wonderful parents to do this and accept your son the way he is.
If only all parents were like you. I can't imagine how much easier my life would have been if my parents had accepted me when I first came out to them.
I just lost my Mom to cancer a month ago and when I think about the years we lost (she pretty much dis-owned me) after I first came out, it makes me sad. She was very accepting the last few years, but gosh it was so hard for several years. You should feel so good about what you did.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us Chris. It's good to know that at least one young person will have the support and love of his family as he walks the journey to becoming himself.

It's a great way to start off the day, knowing that all went well!

Well, you guys have all been amazing...and I'm enjoying reading many of the other threads as well.

Some stuff really puts a smile on my face and makes me laugh out load...:rotfl:

It's nice to have found a group that's so supportive...and funny, too!

Thanks again.

Well now Chris, since you've joined us just let me say this....whatever they tell you about me...it's absolutely NOT true....unless of course it's good, then by all means go ahead and eat it up with a spoon ;)

I'm so glad everything worked out well!!

And there are a few of us who live down here, so keep in touch before you visit!!

Congratulations! You did great! My parents did the same thing with me (many, many years ago:rotfl: ) and asked me. It changed my life as I'm sure you have changed your son's:lovestruc
