We are going in Sept for 8 nights, 7 days of parks. We have the dining plan. I am going to do heavy character dining because we have three kids and they love it. I know we will do Playhouse Play and Dine, CRT dinner, Donald's breakfast, Crystal Palace, and Chef Mickey.

Here is where I need advice, at Epcot would you recommend Garden Grill or Akershus?

And for a Magic Kingdom day would you choose Ohana or 1900 Park Fare (this is on the monorail, right?).

Which is better for the princess, 1900 or Akershus?

Thanks! Denise

How old are your kids? At Epcot, I would recommend Garden Grill....the last went we went, the characters were Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale, and Minnie. The food is served family style and my then 7 yob loved the mac-n-cheese, and chicken fingers they served. He even ate some of the adult food, which were turkey, london broil etc ( you can check out the menu at allearsnet.com, under dining ). As for Magic Kingdom, I would also recommend 1900 Park Fare for dinner since Ohana does not have any characters during dinner. Have a great time.

My son really enjoyed the Garden Grill. The characters came around about 3 times! The food was ok. My dh really liked the meal. he also liked the fact that we were moving too! He requested that we go back again this July and I booked us for dinner again!
We are also doing dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. I know there are many bad reviews about the food but we want to give it a shot.

We loved, loved the 1900 Park Fare breakfast! Characters were great, esp. the mad hatter and the breakfast food was fantastic! I've heard good things about GG for your Epcot day, but haven't been there myself.

About to book our reservations for Character Dining and we will do Chef Mickey, Liberty Tree Tavern and the Princess Breakfast at Norway.
We have not done Chef Mickey but heard great things.
Always do the Liberty Tree Tavern before the Halloween Party and then let the girls change into their costumes.
Have done Norway breakfast and really enjoyed it.
Not a big fan of Crystal Palace but 1900 was good.

Love the Crystal Palace for breakfast--a must do every trip for DH and me. We like Garden Grill better than Askerhaus.
