Need some advice on who to rent from- Windsor Hills

I’m looking at staying at Windsor Hills (preferably) in October. I have found several properties that I like on different websites- VRBO, air B&B, Magical Vacation Homes, and Top Villas. I also submitted an inquiry through Windsor Official Rentals but most of those responding were out of my price range.

Anyway, are there any companies to stay away from? Any other rental companies that I should add to my list? We last went in 2016 and booked 2 months prior and got a good deal- but I hate waiting until last minute.

We used Windsor Hills Official Rentals, but the quotes there were cheaper for us because of the extra fees VBRO/etc were adding on.

I believe that the Windsor Hills Official Rentals have their homes vetted by the resort to ensure that they are on the up and up. You're probably safe with those owners. VRBO and AirBNB will probably be higher with the ridiculous booking fees. Waiting until the last minute will generally get you the rentals that nobody else wanted..

Try https://www.windsorhillsfloridarentals.com. They didn't have availablity for our week last year but were wonderful to work with and their units look nice.

Thanks for this post - I just quickly looked up this area and the prices for renting are very reasonable. It also sounds like there are lots of people who have had good experiences renting from them? If we have to get into a car and drive to the parks then I guess one might as well get comfortable for a good price!

I've had good success with VacationCentralFlorida - Dave Robinson.

We've rented from Vacation Central Florida three times over the years and were pleased with the accommodations. Only disclaimer is that its been about 5 years since, so I can't comment on the upkeep...

I hate to hear that. I've been corresponding with Dan Robinson, so I believe it's staying in the family.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that too. I spoke with Dave a couple times back when there were only 4 or 5 units on the website and found him honest and easy to work with. I hope the family keeps up the tradition also.

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear that. We have used his company twice before and just rented from them again for this summer.

We used this site several years ago and loved it. Using again for our stay in a few weeks. Great reviews and correspondence from Robert has always been speedy and very professional.
