Need Rose n Crown Reviews.

:p Ditto....I'd like to hear some feedback myself. DW & I have ressies for 9/15 @ 7:30 for our anniversary. Hoping for patio seat for Illum.:p :p

Well we've eaten in both the restaraunt and the patio, and both meals were wonderful. Our first time we ate there we had a party of 6. We had requested the patio in our ressie, but were doubtful that we would be seated there as our meal would be right before illuminations. But we were lucky and were seated after about 15 minutes of waiting. Our waiter was wonderful and very entertaining, while our food was just as enjoyable. We were able to watch illuminations just as we were finishing our dinner, and this made for our most enjoyable evening on that trip.

Our second visit to the Rose & Crown was for lunch, just my DD and I, and we sat inside the restaraunt. We had never been inside, and were very pleased with it. There was a bar in the front, and in the back was more seating overlooking the patio and the lake. The food was once again great, and the service was wonderful. My DD nad I really enjoyed our lunch, and have come to realize that the Rose & Crown is a wonderful experiece inside and out (of the restaraunt that is). :)

I am drooling for their fish and chip!:p . We will be there in Nov. and I don't care where I sit as long as I get that fish!;)

I just booked it for the CP dinner package on Christmas Eve! We have an 8:00 PS there, and I'm hoping that we can get outside seating for Illuminations!!
If the fish and chips inside is as good as that outside at the walk-up booth, my kids will be happy - they all love it :p .

We ate at Rose and Crown last year while waiting for Illuminations to start. Our waiter was very charming and gave us excellent service. As I recall, my sister and I had the pan-seared salmon and my nephews had fish and chips. We thought the food was great. I don't remember exactly what we had for dessert, but I'm sure we enjoyed whatever it was! :D

It was a very pleasant dinner experience, and I'd recommend it.

I believe Rose and Crown is one of the most charming places to eat at WDW, and certainly my fav. place in a park. The English theming is quaint and very accurate (we were in London not too long ago and tried out many pubs just to compare!). The food is pub fare- the fish and chips are great. My husband always gets the cheese and fruit platter (ploughman's lunch?) and finds it a perfect match to his pint of Guinness. I had the prime rib one night during Illuminations- just perfect.

We loved it! We were 3 adults and 2 kids (9 & 6). We ate out on the patio, I had the pie sampler the kids had the fish & chips. I can't remember what the other adults had. I remember we all thought ours was delicious.

The CM/waitress we had was fantastic. She was so nice and attentive and willing to talk to us about England and her coming over here and such. My daughter was picked to "start" the Illuminations fireworks! She held a "magic wand" that came straight from Mickey Mouse, according to the CM that came and asked her to do it. He also told us that Mickey had spotted her on the terrace and thought she would be perfect for the job. She waved her magic wand just as the fireworks started with a single one that seemed to come from the roof of R&C.

It was great! Great food, great service, great atmospher, great view of the show and the added special touch for our daughter. I highly recommend it.

The last time we were there, I had the pie sampler. It was excellent! :)

We love this restaurant!

Did you mention that it was your anniversary when you made your PS? I did and when we arrived at the R & C the hostess greeted us with "Happy Anniversary" and took us right to a table in the center of the patio. Looked like the best seat in the house to me. I can't say that this will always be the case, but this is just what happened for us.

We had a appetizer that was some sort of mushroom dish, and it was to die for! Hope you have an enjoyable day!

Yes, the mushroom app. was good! Good pub grub, ENORMOUS portions, and agile waiters!

We went in Jan. so easily scored Illuminations patio seating. Freezing, but the heat lamps were out. As our waiter was bringing us a beer sampler order he slipped a bit on the stairs , the tray he was holding over his head teetered and hovered dangerously over a family of four that sat right outside that stair railing-but he managed to recover and never missed a beat!

We had the prime rib and the pie sampler-tasty!

The rose and crown is one of our favorite places to eat in WDW, we always eat here 1-2 times each trip. Food is yummy, hearty fare and we have always had a great meal. Fish and chips are very good as is the pie sampler. My hubby always orders a full size cottage pie and enjoys every bite. We have 2 PS's for our september trip and hope to spend one of those on the patio watching the show.
