I haven't seen anyone talk about this restaurant. We ALL love hibachi, so we are hoping this is good! Any reviews?? Thanks!!

If you love hibachi, then you will love this place. It is almost on par with some of the Japanese steak houses in my hometown, IMHO.

That is exactly why we don't eat here when in WDW. There are so many places that are different from restaurants in our home town, and when we travel, we look for something different. Everything I've read about Teppan Edo is that it's very good, but a little expensive (doesn't matter if you're on the DP) and they don't offer the extras that you'd get at home (soup, salad, shrimp appetizer). Have fun!:)

We eat at Teppan Edo on every trip, although it is exactly the same experience as the hibachi-style Japanese restaurants we have at home.

I think you'll like it.

Teppan Edo is a really fun place to eat. The kids enjoyed it a lot. And they liked the food. BONUS!

Check out my TR in my sig for some pics. Page 2, Post #20.

We ate at Teppanyaki many times over the years, but we haven't been able to get there since it has become Teppan Edo. We have an ADR for our trip in September and looking forward to seeing what was redone. Can't wait.:thumbsup2

We just ate at Teppan Edo a few weeks ago. They were able to fit all 9 of us at one table which was great. I loved our chef, I have seen videos of her on youtube before so it was cool to see her in person! Everyone liked their food even all 6 kids. The only complaint I heard was from my hubby..he wished they served fried rice rather then white. Other then that..PERFECT!

I am majorly jealous of all of you that have this type of resteraunt near your home...

WOW thank you guys for the reviews!! I couldn't find this post bc they moved it so I didn't know I had all these great replies!

I am so psyched, we LOVE hibachi and have a bunch of places around here for it as well! We go to the hibachi as a treat for birthdays and such, so this will be great. We are on the DDP so price won't be an issue I don't think. Thank you so much!! I'm excited to go!

I was concerned last time we went that my kids wouldn't like it, because they are pizza and chix nuggets kind of kids... but to my surprise, it turned out to be their favorite of all time at Disney, and we've had to go to the local hibatchi place by us a few times since we've come home. the younger kids had monorail plates which they enjoyed... They wanted to take them home. Even the kids were happy to try something different, and next trip we are trying all new places, because who knows when we'll be pleasantly surprised and truly find a new favorite. I am hoping we wont be dissapointed in our choices, and wish we just stayed with our old favorites, but heck, nothing was ever that bad at disney that we hated it.

We ate at Teppan Edo for the first time last year and had a great time. The chef was very entertaining & our food was very good + the chocolate ginger cake for dessert was fantastic.

Teppen Edo rocks- we were just there in May. Everyone in our group (age range 3 -73) loved the meal & the atmosophere.

We ate at Tepan Edo last December and all had a great time. The Chef wat our table was very entertaining--she made a Mt. Fujiyama out of the onions as well as a Minnie Mouse. The food was good as wel even for picky eater-kids.

This is a Family Tradition...

DS and I have probably been 10+ times... And although the experience and food have evolved over time... From the Teppan Yaki days to now...

It's still always a FUN experience and Great food !

It's nice to take some time out from the hot park and enjoy a great show with plenty of food...

We also enjoy the shop below...the 'pick a pearl' show...the drummers show ...the koi ponds... etc. Japan is a wonderful experience !

Hugs,
Mary

Teppan Edo is a must do for our family every trip. DS asks to eat there for his birthday. It is MUCH better than anything near us here at home.
Enjoy
