We stayed one night at the Country Inn and Suites LBV in early December. I was not impressed, but we may have just had an inferior room...because we were only there for one night, I didn't make a fuss. Our bathroom door handle was broken and the tub in the shower was strange--the floor was sloping and it was hard to maintain balance. DH and I both noticed it, and I've never been in another tub like it. The room itself was rather dark, and though they "upgraded" us to a kidsuite, the kid's area was cramped and only sectioned off from the main area by a partial wall. The outside of the wall was decorated with what looked like alien eyeballs, which was pretty weird. The free continental breakfast was mediocre, but okay--if I remember correctly they served a couple of dry cereals, some pastries, and had maybe a make your own waffle set up.
I admit we stayed there after a week in a great 2 bdrm villa, but we're normally pretty humble folk (LOL!!) and routinely stay in Super 8 motels!! Overall, I was not impressed with this hotel and would not stay here again. By the way, this is NOT the same as the Calypso Cay location--we almost stayed there because it's a newer property and has more amenities.
