Need restaurant help!

We had a room only plan at the yacht club and are now switching to the POP and i'd like to make reservations at a restaurant or two while down there. We are going over Christmas (19th thru the 27th). I"m unsure if we are picking the dining plan, but will pay out of pocket if need be.

I have a picky 6yo - any restaurants come to mind ?

Ohana? Chef Mickey's? anything?

I would go online and see what's available at that time. It may be slim pickings but you can see what they suggest!

At this late stage in the game, I doubt you'll be able to get Chef Mickey's. I would go to online dining and see what is available.

Both Ohana and Chef Mickey are great choices. Crystal Palace is a nice buffet also for your picky one, that way they can choose what they want. Whispering Canyon is fun too but check out the menu to see if it passes the picky test. At this late date,you may want to call and see that you can still get and that may decide for you.

Just for the heck of it I went over to Disney.com and tried to see if I could get a reservation for O'hana for the time you're there, any night at 5:45 for 5 people (just guessing, 2 adults, 3 kids) and found that there was no availability for December 19-23 (only does 5 days in a row when searching). BUT, it did say Citricos and Kona were available on Saturday night. So you just never know what's available. I would may a few reservations if I were you at that time! Just see what you can get. The popular restaurants like Chef Mickey's and O'hana will probably not have availability but if you keep checking online you never know what you'll find. Good luck!
