NEED Printer HELP, HELP,HELP

HELP> Now we have bought another printer awhile ago. Worked great until now. We just installed new black ink. Now NOTHING will print. Of course it will scan, but won't Print. It just sits there.
Its a- HP PSC 1400 series. Our DD 14 has projects due of course.

Have you tried going into the services to clean the printer cartridges and calibrate the color? Is the ink cartridge in all the way? Sometimes I have actually had to restart my computer.
