How much is a bottle of champagne at the resort goft shops? Can anyone give me an idea. Also, if possible if they sell Martini and Rossi Asti?

I know the resorts usually have a few options, although I haven't bought any at the resort shops lately. I did buy a bottle of the Iron Horse Fairy Tale Cuvee at the pantry shop in DTD and that was $24.95.

Don't forget about Germany and France in Epcot...you can get some nice bottles of wine there. I know there's a German equivalent to the Asti that's really nice.

Unfortunately, the day I want to buy the champagne, we will be at Animal Kingdom during the day, then leave and go to Poly for photos, eat dinner and watch fireworks. I was hoping to be able to buy a cold bottle from the gift store or counter service restaurant. And wanted to get an idea if it would be cost effective. BTW, if I were to buy drinks from the Lounge would I be able to take them out. Maybe if it were possible we would buy a drink then walk out to the beach for a toast under the stars and magic of Wishes. Any advice?

Ohhh that sounds so nice! I'd like to know, too :)

We bought a bottle of the Iron Tale champagne one night from the gift shop at the Yacht Club, then walked over to the bar and the bartender loaned us two glasses - it was New Years Eve and we had an illuminations cruise (on Breathless). We had the champagne on the boat then gave the bartender the glasses back later (of course we must have tipped him, don't remember how much). I think it's perfectly acceptable to have a drink with you while you stroll around!

If you are worried about obtaining glasses, maybe you can stash a couple of plastic ones in your day bag? Not as tasty as glass, but may be easier.

I am sure you could get something there at the Poly - or if you are finding it difficult to get the bottle, you could certainly get a drink and take it with you. Enjoy - sounds like a fun-filled day!

I bought wine from the grab and go place/quick service place at the Grand Floridian and they handed me two plastic wine glasses with it.
