Need Prayers

DH, DD and I live in the upstairs apartment of my in-laws house. In laws went on a cruise for their 50th Anniversary. MIL called this morning to say FIL had, what they believe is, a stroke. He is unresponsive and they are trying to have him helicoptered to Miami.

This is a horrible enough situation but MIL and DH deal with severe anxiety and depression.

Please take a moment to keep them all in your prayers. We will need every prayer and good thought that can be had.

For those of you who know me from FB, please do not post about it there. Not sure which family members have been contacted yet and I'd hate to start a war because FB friends knew about it before their family.

FIL has been taken off the ship via helicopter to Miami. They wouldn't allow my MIL to go with him so she has to wait until the ship docks today and then fly out. What a nightmare.

Obviously post above was incorrect. So little communication and then the rumor mill. One cousin said she spoke with BIL who told her the above. Then BIL posts that they weren't able to get him off until around 1:30 or so this afternoon. The not knowing is horrible.

What a long day. FIL on his way and should be at the hospital within the next 1/2 hour. Still don't know if MIL is with him or not. BIL on his way down to Florida, flight leaving NJ now.

Please continue to pray. Scares me that this happened hours ago and he's still not at a hospital yet. I hope they have really great doctors on Royal Caribbean.
