We will have my 88 year old mother-in-law with us. She will not be able to walk far for the Disney transportation to the parks. What should I request for the closest area of this resort? Is it the 1960s area? I would love some room numbers, if anyone knows any that are the absolute closest for the buses. I know even if you are in a certain section, certain rooms are closer than others. TIA

I would call the hotel about a week before your arrival and ask them to place you in a room close to the buses and explain why. Even if you request a certain building, there is no guarantee that you will be close. 60's is a preferred section but there are areas in the 60's that are a farther walk to the bus stop then if you were in the 70's for instance. If you are straight forward with the hotel, I'm sure they will do their best to accommodate you. I have made the same request in the past because my kids are little and dragging two toddlers and a baby back to the room as night was not small task - lol! :flower:
