I have a broken foot. Have to wear this boot thing for a month. It causes me to walk funny cause it is taller than my other shoes. I can't wear a high heal on my other foot- too uncomfortable and too unstable. I need a high tennis shoe. I think I remember some platform type tennis shoe but can't remember the brand name. I don't want to spend a ton of money, but my back is killing me walking off kilter. Anyone have any idea of where I can find such a thing?
Thanks.

I think that Sketchers still make the platform tennis shoes.

If you want something other then a tennis shoe there are lots of chunky sole shoes out there. You could look at Payless or someplace cheap. They should come in a lot of colors and won't be heals.

Thanks! I knew I could count on you :)

I really want tennis shoes (for comfort). I am on my feet for long periods of time and nothing beats a running shoe for comfort (in my opinion).

I will look at the link and look for the sketcher.

Volatile and Sketchers make several.

Do you know if Volatile sneakers are comfy?
I found a pair that look like they might work for me.
THanks.

When I was younger, I had a pair of platform converse sneakers.
I gave them to my dsdaughter when she was 17 or so. I wonder if they still make them?

I like the white ones (although I didn't want to spend that much cause I probably won't wear them once I get rid of this boot) but they don't have my size.....

If you are mostly standing, they would be great. I didn't like mine for walking distances because the heel was shallow and it just felt "funny". Then again, I can't stand walking in backless shoes either unless they are flip-flops.

So did the heel ride up and down then? I will be walking a fair amount so need some comfort there too.
