Need parental opinions... dsi or dsi xl for kids?

My three children (ages 10, 8 and 6) all have the DSiXL. They had the smaller dsi and traded theirs in on their birthdays for the XL. They all love the XL because the screen is bigger. I also had read reviews about poor graphics, but from what I have seen of the screen everything looks great.

OK, I'm feeling better about the XL now. I can't wait to give it to him for Christmas!

I took DS(6) to Best Buy today to try them out. He prefers the DS and the DSi to the DSi XL. Glad that I have not ordered the XL yet. I had figured that he would of preferred the larger screen.

My girls just finished saving their own money to buy themselves Ds's...they both chose the XLs and love them...they had gameboy advances before that.

They are 12 and 8....all of their friends think they are awesome. We haven't had any problems with grainy graphics, and the "extras" are awesome...I think they play as much with the photo stuff and the recorder as they do with games...
