Need offsite hotel recommendation for after BWV??

We are staying at the BWV Dec. 14-18th in a 1BR. I want to extend my trip Friday and Saturday to relax at hotel, christmas shop at DTD and DH has wanted to visit a couple of the outlets in Orlando. I have looked at remaining onsite but the cost is just too much especially with some of the deals out there and since we won't be doing any of the parks I thought we could save some money and stay offsite for these 2 days; however I don't know where to stay (haven't really stayed offsite in years) and I am looking for suggestions on comparable hotels. Please help.

I am wanting to spend only about $150 per night. Looking for something with kids activities at the hotel since it is December I don't want to rely only on the pool for entertainment. I would also like to stay close to DTD since we will be going over there. As for the room, there are 5 of us so something with 2 queens and a sleeper or a suite. I hope this helps

Check out tripadvisor dot com. Type in Lake Buena vista or Orlando and read what others have to say. I always check them out before booking.

I would recommend Cypress Pointe for those 2 nights.

I just returned from a short stay at Lake Eve resort on I-drive as well. Very nice condo units, although no organized activities for the kids.

We always book Royal Parc Suites in Kissimmee. Its got great 2 bdroom suites, which we just recently booked for $101/night. Nice pool (although not always super warm), managers reception (free drinks) and very nice continental breakfast. Its very close to Old Town and lots of great restaurants.
