I am going to book an October trip tomorrow.
when is the best time to go?
Any time in October would be good. Here's a link to the "official" website that lists a few of the things going on in October: click here to view it.

And here's a link to the park hours: click here for October park hours.
Parks aren't open too late, Janet. I guess I'm used to summer/holiday hours.
Everyone missed the only thing that matters in October.
Epcot's Food and Wine festival starts aroung Oct 20 and goes till a couple days before Thanksgiving.
Thanks for the quick replies everyone.
We just decided like 5 minutes ago to change our October vacation plans to WDW
we are thinking of Oct 5-12 or the week after. Bummer about the food/wine festival.....but we would not want to go that late.
You must NOT miss MNSSHP: click here for MNSSHP dates. And here is a link to a few of my photos of that event: click here to view 'em.
Janet....you are fast. thanks for the pictures.
there will be 2 MNSSH parties during the time we are looking.
Would it be fun for 2 adults/no kids?
oh....does that mean traditionally no E-nights in October?
You bet it would, as long as you are kids at heart! And if you're feeling frisky, wear a costume. I usually wear a costume and am presently trying to figure out what I will be wearing when I attend the MNSSHP this year. Right now I am stumped!
Thanks Janet. I can't wait to call and check availability tomorrow morning. (have to check flights too, using FF miles
