Need new Scanner. HELP!!!

My cheapy Visioneer one-touch scanner refuses to work and according to their website I should just get a new one!

So what kind should I get?

What about a printer/scanner? My printer is pretty old.

Suggestions please...........

I have several here, but my favorite is the HP printer/scanner/copier combo. It even has great photo printing capabilities.

I just bought a Canon LiDE 30 and it works great. Easy to set up and run and quite cheap.
