We will be travelling th WDW in January - 3 adults and 3 teens - 2 girls (15) - 1 boy (14) . Would like to hear your suggstions on "interactive" and/or character meals that the kids would enjoy. Too bad they did away with the "Villians Dinner" - they would have loved that.
Looking forward to hearing from everyone!!!!!!:smooth:

The Hoop-Dee-Doo ios always great also the character dinner at the Liberty Tree Traver is excellent

My brother just got back from Disney and could not stop raving about this (and they have teenage kids). They said the food was great and the fun was fabulous. I may be trying this when we go there in October.

I second the vote for the Hoop-dee-doo! It's wonderful for a first-time trip! :D

Thanks fo the great suggestions - when we went to WDW in 2000 - husband and kids were not interested in Hoop-de-doo but I will certainly suggest it again.
What about character breakfasts?? Last time we loved Crystal Palace - do we stick with that or try something new????

Looking forward to your replies -

Paula

There are 3 character breakfasts my DW and I really enjoy:

Cape May (Beach Club)
1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian)
Chef Mickey's (Contemporary)

I think your family would enjoy any of them.

If you like interactive meals, check out the 50's Prime Time Cafe at MGM Studios. The servers can be a real hoot there and the menu is about 90% comfort food. The desserts are worth the trip alone!
