We are flying into MCO on March 20, 2010 and will arrive at about 10:00. We are spending 5 days at Shades of Green, then departing for 2 days with friends in the area. On March 27, 2010, we get on the Disney Magic for 7 days and then need to get back to MCO on April 3, 2010.

On our last cruise, we rented with Budget, which worked out really well. So, here's our thoughts and I need some help:

MCO to Shades of Green - Supershuttle or taxi

Shades of Green to friends and then to Port Canaveral - car rental with the car rental company bringing the vehicle to us. (Will Budget do that?)

Port to MCO - Budget rent a car

We're not doing the rental during the time that we're at WDW because we don't expect to leave the park and don't want to pay to park a rental.

Any thoughts on how best to do this?

TIA,
Dana & Holly

No, there are no rental companies that will bring the car to you..you have to go to them. BUT...Budget should be able to come and pick you up and take you to their office. They are located in the Doubletree Guest Suites in DTD. Fairly easy to get to if you use Disney transportation.

Alamo will come and pick you up at your resort. But renting an Alamo car on site is very expensive.
We just got back and prior to our trip I priced an Alamo car onsite and the price was $235 yet the very same car at the airport $70. for the week.
