Need lightest, coolest sneakers for parks-No crocs or sandals

I'm looking at Keens for the parks and have found some good deals online. However, I have never worn Keens and don't know how they run. I normally wear a women's 9. Suggestions (other than fighting the holiday crowds to go try some on only to come home and order online)?

DH and I LOVE our Keens! They tend to run a full size small. If you have an REI near you, you have a year, no questions asked to return.

I am not a fan of buying "cheap" shoes. Cheap shoes do not work for DH's flat feet and as I get older, my feet tend to feel those magical miles and cheap shoes do not work for me either. In this case, the saying "you get what you pay for", applies to us. When you spend 10+ hours on your feet in the parks, you need good shoes. DH and I love, love, love our Keens! They have a closed toe. For sneakers, we love Brooks. We bought at our Keens at REI. They have a year return policy.

I think I'm going to purchase some Go Walks at Shoe Carnival for our upcoming trip. They have been having a buy one get one half sale so it seems to be the perfect time! I tried a pair on and they are super comfy, lightweight and the particular pair I tried on seemed to be a lower cut than most tennis shoes these days. Will work perfect with some moisture wicking socks!

Adidas Climacool. They have holes in the bottom for ventilation so be careful in the rain but are very light and give good support. Oh, and when the wind blows it cools your toes!!
