Need Info on renting an golf cart from an outside vendor!

We are Fort bound in the next 2 weeks. We NEED to rent a golf cart. We would very much like to get a 6 seater from an outside source. Please tell me how this works. People tell me there are ways around everything...I'm nervous!

What do you mean "Ways around everything?"

I know Tee Time Rentals (Kenny/Kelly) rents golf carts, but you have to meet them offsite to either hook up their trailer to your truck, or take their truck (with the trailer attached) to bring the cart into the Fort (make sure you have your MB/pass/id). They give you about an hour to return with the truck Which is more than enough time. Typically this has to be reserved well in advance depending on the season. Leaving, you just reverse the process. I think they have 6 seaters, but no clue as to how many. If you are considering them, I suggest you call them immediately.

Also the Fort has 6 seaters too. I do not believe you can "Reserve" a 6 seater. You can only reserve a normal (4 seater) cart. They are more expensive then off site, but if the stay is short (or the rental is only a day or two) it's probably easier.

There may be other off site rentals but I have never used them nor am I aware of them.

"Ways around everything" ... you covered it. I am concerned about how to get the golf cart into the Fort as they don't allow drop offs any longer. There are a few golf cart vendors. We have rented from the Fort in the past (it's pricey) or my sister's family have brought theirs (we just sold it for them--it needed more work than we were willing to invest for the few times we need a golf cart anymore).

Yeah.... No more drop offs, but you are allowed to bring your own in, so at least as far as Tee Time goes, it's like you are bringing in your own. I suppose that's the "Way around". Hope you have a great trip.
