Need info on Rentals

I have posted looking to rent points but am wondering about those posters looking to sell. Some of them have several different posts out there for various points and prices with different names underneath the post, but the name to the right side will be the same throughout. Is this on the up-and-up? Is it a broker who handles different renters? Just curious. This is my first time to DW and my first time posting! Although at this point, I am wondering if I will have any luck renting anything what with the number of people looking to do the same! Thanks.

If I am reading you correctly, and you are talking about the DVC Rent/Trade forum here on the DIS, the ID on the left (under the post title) is the creator of the thread. The ID on the right is the person "Last to Post".

It's reasonable that if one were looking to rent points that they may reply to more than one thread at a time and you may see the same ID in the Last Post column multiple times. So yes, I believe that to be on the up-and-up.

See your thread now- my ID is on the last to post column (that is, until someone else posts to your thread)
