Hi - my brother's family is going to WDW 12/26-12/30 and I want to do something special for them during their trip as my Christmas present to them. They won't let me pay for a night's stay or one of their media tickets so I need your great ideas on what I can purchase and reserve in advance for them to enjoy while they're there.

Please send all your great ideas no matter the cost. It's a very special trip for them. My niece and nephew are 18 and 15 so my brother thinks this will be the last family trip to WDW for awhile.

I'm hoping to have something special to enjoy at WDW under their tree on 12/25.

Much thanks in advance. Ely :wizard:

My best guess would be to buy them Disney Dollars at the Disney store. My kids are much younger but they love having money to spend without restrictions.

Also, a Pal Mickey would be a fun item, just be sure to get this year's model (he'll have a tuxedo).

This may not be fun or exciting but maybe one of two things:
A - Buy them one of those gift cards they can use at Disney
B - Make reservations and pay for one of the dinner shows for them. Tell them all they have to do is pick up the tickets when they check in, its all paid for.

An IllumiNations or Wishes cruise. See the stuck thread up at the top of this page for tips on booking.

How about booking a Family Magic Tour at MK or the Segway tour at Epcot? Not sure if there are age restrictions but those might be fun to do. When my brother and niece went last December I made them a gift basket with things they could use while on vacation. Had the Disney store print up some "Dad and me Disney vacation" shirts and some other fun Disney stuff. Good luck. What a nice sister you are!

Segway Tour at Epcot.

Captains Boat Package at the Contemporary. It would allow them to take the little speed boats out any time they want, and for however long they want. I say Contemporary because those are the best.

Disney Quest Passes

Cirque Du Soleil tickets

Keys to the Kingdom Tour- Maybe a little long for the kids. They would have to be big Disney fans

I second the Segway Tour at Epcot. I think that one of the reasons my 12 year-old DD is looking forward to tunring 16 is so she can *finally* go on this tour.

This isn't quite the extravagant present you asked for, but if they're staying on-site you could get everybody a resort mug to use at the food court. Maybe get that through the WDW Florist, arranging for a gift-basket(along with other goodies like a WDW giftcard or show tickets :teeth: ) to be waiting for them when they arrive.

The niece and nephew might enjoy admission to Disney Quest.

agnes!

I would reserve (you pay at time of reservation) a Hoop Dee Doo show, or another if they've done that one in trips past.

what a great idea for a gift!!

I agree with the Illuminations or Wishes Cruise. It's going to be a really crowded week and will take up allot of time to "save" good seats for these events I'd imagine and it would save them the waiting time, while getting them one of the best seats in the house.
