I have some very nice, plain-colored T-shirt & shorts sets that I would like to decorate with my grandaughter. She is 4.5 yrs and I am not crafty at all, so this could possibly be a very bad combination here!

I'm not looking for ideas that are intricate nor am I looking to make a masterpiece, just something fun for us to do that we will remember everytime she wears the clothes.

Please, please, please........ any ideas? Painting? Glueing? Tips? Something that washes well multiple times? Something that will be easy & fun for both of us (i.e. not difficult to cause a melt-down for either of us). I have a Hobby Lobby near for supplies.

If the clothes don't turn out well, maybe I can send the video to "America's Funniest Home Videos". This has the makings of a grand-prize winner!

Thanks!

Get some big -foam stamps (they come in all kinds of shapes - bug, flowers, hearts, etc.) and some fabric paint. Brush the paint onto the stamps and then press them onto the shirt. Make sure you put a brownpaper grocery bag or some newspaper in between the shirt so the paint doesnt go all the way through to the back.
The stamps and paint are pretty inexpensive and can be found at walmart or any craft shop.
have questions just PM me
Jennifer
