I have 10 year old twins - one boy and one girl. When they were little, they liked the same things and I could combine their parties.
We don't have a kid party every year, especially when they weren't in school yet, but this year they are turning 10. We are talking double digits here baby.
I would really like to give them each a special party. They do share some of the same friends and have their own school friends too because they are in different classes. Of course, funds are limited and I will have to come up with the money or daddy will have a fit!
I could just make cupcakes and send them to school, which I will probably end up doing anyway, ugh, but I need some ideas for parties that are doable if you are not filthy stinking rich.....oh, sorry.
We have done Jeepers (indoor party place), a childrens museum and they have attended bowling parties. Their birthday is a week before Christmas, which also complicates things because everyone is so busy that time of year. I have thought about having whatever we have the week after Thanksgiving, before it gets to the Christmas crunch.
I would appreciate any ideas you all might have.
Thanks!
