Need hotel for 1 night - want to go to Island of Adventure?

We will be in Orlando over Tksgv. - we want to spend 1 night at Universal - which hotel is better for 1 night - we leave 11/29 at 3pm from Orlando airport. It would just be for Wed. night 11/28. I do have passes for all of us to tour the theme park.

US is not like WDW. It is very compact. Not long to get anywhere. There are 3 on-site resorts. They are all deluxe and none are very far from the parks. The farest would be Portofino. If you want a view of IOA from your room, then RPR would be your choice.

For the $110 savings you might consider upgrading one of your tickets to an annual pass (APH).
At $159 I would choose Portofino.
