Can anyone recommend a nice (non-Disney) hotel near Sea World (within 5 miles) that has a really nice pool that a 4-year-old would enjoy and wouldn't break the bank? I am hoping to spend around $100-$150 per night. 100% smoke-free rooms is a plus too.

Thanks!

We just stayed at Hilton Grand Vacations Suites at SeaWorld in a 1-bedroom suite in that price range that has a fantastic pool area. 2 pools and at least 4 hot tubs. We had a hard time dragging our 6 year old away to go do anything once he got to that pool. The room was great. We are nearly certain we will stay there again on our next trip.

It sits just across the street from Sea World and was only a 3 minute drive to the entrance and parking lot. You can walk it, but my wife convinced me the $12 parking was worth it since you're going to be doing a good deal of walking in the park anyhow.

Nice thing is you only have to pay parking once a day. You can get there early in the morning, head back to room for lunch (our room had a full kitchen.) and a break, then head back to the park for the evening shows and fireworks. Quick note, you can also see the fireworks from the pool area, but above a tree line, but seeing fireworks from the pool area only increased my sons love for that area. Also, your parking is good for Aquatica as well. We started one day there and did an evening at SeaWorld and just had to present our receipt from Aquatica.

Hope that helps some.

We stayed at the Doubletree Resort which is literally a 5 minute walk to Seaworld. We found the hotel great and there are two nice pools. Its about $100+ but if you try and book on touramerica.ie they have a great rate with the hotel. I'm not sure if they will let you with an american card but it is worth a try.. We were really happy with the hotel.. One recommendation though if you do stay there.. Go across to the village inn for breakfas.. its half the price of the hotel and twice as nice :) The i-ride also stops right outside so it was really great!

We just got the JW marriott for $129 a night with AAA. Its like 3 miles away and they have an amazing pool with lazy river.
