Hi Everyone,

So I am a couple of weeks out from making my dinner reservations and hoped you could all have a look at my daily plans and let me know what you think. I'm a rookie to Disney World! I've done Paris ALOT, also California, Hong Kong and Tokyo but I am sooooooo excited for Florida.

For info, it will be myself, my husband and my 23 month old travelling. We are staying at AKL. We are doing 4 full days then a 4nt Disney Cruise. We also have the deluxe dining package (upgraded from the free dining). I haven't included our arrival day as we will likely just have dinner at the hotel depending on our flight arrival time.

Outline on daily plan below:

Day 1 - Magical Kingdom Park
Breakfast @ Gaston’s Tavern, counter-service [snack credits]
Fast Passes - Peter Pan’s Flight, Under the Sea and Buzz light year Spin
Lunch @ Cinderella’s Royal Table, signature & character dining [2 x dining credits pp]
Dinner TBC (open to ideas!)

Day 2: Epcot / Hollywood Studios
Breakfast @ Topolino’s terrace [1 dining credit pp]
Skyliner to Epcot
Lunch Food and Wine Festival [snack credits]
Skyliner to Hollywood Studio’s
Fast Passes - Tier 1: Rise of the Resistance (if available) or Millennium Falcon or Mickey’s runaway railway
Tier 2: Disney Junior Dance Party, For the first Time in Forever: Frozen singalong

Dinner at 50’s Prime Time Café [1 dining credit pp]
Fantasmic

Day 3: Animal Kingdom/Disney Springs
Breakfast @ Tusker House [1 dining credit pp]
Animal Kingdom Park
Fast Passes – Flight of Passage, Kilimanjaro Safari’s and it’s tough to be a bug (?)
Festival of the Lion King
Back to AKL mid- afternoon
Lunch @ Sanaa (1 dining credit pp)
Evening explore/shopping in Disney Springs
Late Dinner @ Homecomin’ [1 dining credit pp]

Day 4: Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween Party
Morning/Afternoon by pool at AKL
Costumes
Mickey’s not so scary Halloween Party
Dinner @ Be Our Guest [2 dining credits pp]

Day 5: Time to Cruise!
Late Breakfast @ Boma [1 dining credit pp]
Head to Port Canaveral

Appreciate opinions! Especially in regards to having a two year old with me and if these plans look about right.

Thanks

Looks like you have everything very planned and fairly well. The only suggestion I would make is NOT to have dinner during the halloween party. There is just TOO much going on to waste time during the party for dinner. It doesn't say what time you plan on dinner but if you are going to do BOG, I'd suggest an early dinner (4 pm as they let party guests in at 4) and then you'll be out before the party officially starts at 7.
If you are at the lodge, I'd seriously consider a late lunch at the Mara (one of the best counter service on property IMO) and then snack through the party.

These look great! Totally a trip I'd be super excited for! For your first night I'd suggest hopping on the monorail and leaving the park to have dinner at one of the nearby resorts. It can be a nice little break before heading back for HEA without having to go all the way back to AKL. 'Ohana is great or if your baby likes characters you could try 1900 Park Fare or Chef Mickey's. The Monorail resorts also have great QS options depending on how your dining credits are adding up.

I would suggest not getting FP for the shows at HS and AK. FP is not necessary. I would get a FP for the big rides for you and your husband. Then you can still go to the shows with your little. For HS your tier 2 FP could be TOT and RNRC. In AK instead of TTBAG I would get Everest.

Rise of the Resistance isn't a FP option so if you really want to do that, you would need to go to DHS first thing to get your boarding pass.

Hi everyone
Thanks for the tips! On MNSSHP, I had wondered about dinner, and great tip on the Mara hadn’t even considered it!

Good options and suggestion on escaping the parks, one for me to think about for sure! Also appreciate the tips on where to use the fast passes.

Do we really not think rise of the resistance won’t be running fast passes later in the year? I know it’s boarding passes now but seems excessive if this continues beyond summer, no? But you may be right!

You haven’t included breakfast times. Parks usually are quieter in the early morning than later in the day. I would not want to spend a lot of time eating breakfast in a restaurant every day. Also FYI Gaston’s Tavern doesn’t have a lot of seats.

Day 1 - Magical Kingdom Park
Breakfast @ Gaston’s Tavern, counter-service [snack credits]
Be there for rope drop?
Fast Passes - Peter Pan’s Flight, Under the Sea and Buzz light year Spin Don't you want anything else? I get Peter Pan and since you can book 60 days out should work fine and that is a high priority, but Under the Sea and Buzz aren't that hard to get. Would you want one of you to at least get Space or Big Thunder? Or even Jungle cruise, haunted mansion are harder to get than Under the Sea or Buzz. The line to wait for jungle cruise can be hot and not fun so I would definitely check that out.
Lunch @ Cinderella’s Royal Table, signature & character dining [2 x dining credits pp]
Dinner TBC (open to ideas!)

Day 2: Epcot / Hollywood Studios
If you want to go on Rise then you have to go way early and go there first to tap in.
At Epcot- maybe see Frozen?

Breakfast @ Topolino’s terrace [1 dining credit pp]
Skyliner to Epcot
Lunch Food and Wine Festival [snack credits] Why are you headed to Epcot? Just for a walk around and eat?
Skyliner to Hollywood Studio’s
Fast Passes - Tier 1: Rise of the Resistance (if available) yor Millennium Falcon or Mickey’s runaway railway
Tier 2: Disney Junior Dance Party, For the first Time in Forever: Frozen singalong

Dinner at 50’s Prime Time Café [1 dining credit pp]
Fantasmic

I would recommend doing Hollywood Studios first. Try for Rise and then rope drop Toy Story Mania, try to get a FP for Mickey and if not, MF. MF has a single rider option which might be easier for you all. Read about the Tiers because they have changed recently.

Then you could head to Epcot to wander around hopefully while junior is napping in a stroller. Then you can come back for 50's Prime Time and Fantasmic.

Day 3: Animal Kingdom/Disney Springs
Breakfast @ Tusker House [1 dining credit pp]
Animal Kingdom Park
Fast Passes – Flight of Passage, Kilimanjaro Safari’s and it’s tough to be a bug (don't really need one for it!) It is easy to get it as a 4th FP. I would instead check out Meet a character? One of you wants to check out Everest?
Festival of the Lion King
Back to AKL mid- afternoon
Lunch @ Sanaa (1 dining credit pp)
Evening explore/shopping in Disney Springs
Late Dinner @ Homecomin’ [1 dining credit pp]

Day 4: Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween Party
Morning/Afternoon by pool at AKL
Costumes
Mickey’s not so scary Halloween Party How late is this going to be? Is junior going to be awake to see any of it?
Dinner @ Be Our Guest [2 dining credits pp]

Day 5: Time to Cruise!
Late Breakfast @ Boma [1 dining credit pp]
Head to Port Canaveral

Sounds fun! The only thing I would consider is more time at Epcot! There is a lot for a 2 year old to enjoy. By then, Ratatouille should be open. Then there is Frozen Ever After, Finding Nemo, and Figment!
