Need help

Hi Webmasters - I need help. As you can see, my real name is also my user name on this site. I didn't realize when I first signed on that it would show up like it does. Anyway, I'd like to change it but have been unable to edit it in my profile. Is there a way to do this or do I just have to create a whole new profile? If I create a new profile, what do I do about my email address since I only have one address and don't really want to have another one? Thanks for your help.

Create the new account with the correct mail address. Once you have that done (by next Wed.) go into the old account and make the mail address something else. This will disable the old account and allow your new one to remain active.

O.K. here's my follow up question: When I tried to register again to set up a new user name I received the message "Our records show you have already registered...". So how do I re-register? Thanks for your help.

Try changing the email address on this account to something else, and then registering the new account with the correct email address.

Hi Lisa - I just tried that and it said "You have already registered using the name Colleen McMaster...". As you can probably tell, computers are not my strong suit Anyway, I want to use BooMc as my new user name - is there a way for you to go into my profile to do this or do you have another tip so I can try it myself? Thanks again!

Did you log out and clear your cookies before you tried to re-register?

Hi JC - sorry to be a nuisance but I changed the email address, logged out and am still getting the same error message "Our records show you are already registered under the name Colleen McMaster...". Any other ideas or should I just give up on getting a new user name?

Read this thread and make sure you have cleared all your cookies manualy.
