about how much does it cost for 2 adults, a 4 year old and a 2 year old to go to DIsney for 5 days? Which is the heapest way. My mom said my sister is dancing at Disney next Easter and we were welcome to come, but she wasn't paying for us this time! lol So i really wanna go...DH said if i give him numbers to work with we can try. Any help?

Time to do some research. Do you want to stay on property or off property? On property, I would recommend a Value Resort, the All Star Resorts or Pop Century. Go to Disney.com and you can check out room rates and tickets. Visit a travel agent and ask about any packages.
Are you flying or driving? Children two and under are free admission to the parks. I always plan $100 a day spending money for food and miscellaneous, but have never spent that.
Check expedia.com and travelocity.com for flights/hotels.
A Value Resort room is about $85 a night bearing in mind travel times dictate cost of the room.
Five days of park admission with the hopper option are currently $704 on the Disney site. Two adults and one child.

Look into doing this on the DVC board. Renting from a DVC member can really
save you $$. Have a blast! :thumbsup2

Keep in mind, while it is very nice to stay on site, sometimes it's not the cheapest. If it's between not being able to go, I would also look offsite for cheaper hotel rates. Try www.expedia.com. Bring some food for breakfast to eat in your room such as pop tarts, donuts etc. That'll save you time and money. If you do stay offsite, be sure to do your homework ahead of time as you won't have the disney transportation and assistance from the cast members. Check out www.mousesavers.com. This website has great tips from what hotels they recommend with discounts and free/cheap things to do in WDW. Do your homework and you should be able to go pretty cheaply. I've gone for 5 days for under $1000.00 including air, room, tickets, rental car, food and souviners with my daughter.

Stay off-site
Eat breakfast in your room, even if it is a Pop-Tart
Bring your own snacks into the park
Eat Counter Service Meals at the park, you could even share meals.
Bring little cups to share drinks, which is a huge expense. Plus you don't share your germs.
Buy your souvenirs before you go. The Disney Store and Target's $1.00 bins always have neat Disney stuff. Kids don't have to know you bought them elsewhere. If you don't want to do this, give your kids a set amount of money and when it is gone, it is gone.

I wish I could splurge at Disney, but the only way my DH agrees to go is if we do what I listed above. Good luck.
Oh yeah, we don't get park hoppers either.

I'm confused about what your question actually is?

Have you been to the parks before? so you would know ticket pricing and park food and extras cost?

I also see in your sig. that you are going down in just a few more weeks? are you staying on site? I would look around and resort hop to see what is available and what you like while you are there.

check mousesavers.com and allears.net for discounts and food/ticket pricing info as well as waltdisneyworld. com

flying? driving? from where? how long staying? value season?(doesn't sound like it with mention of Easter)

guess I would just need more information before I threw a price out there!

My family of 6 has been for under $1000 and up to $6000 depending on length of stay, location, etc. so there you go! I threw out numbers anyway!!
