need help with trip planning

need your help – my son and I are planning a very last minute trip to Disney – we normally do this every other year (so 2005 and 2007 was the original schedule) but we have an opportunity to go to South African with my school in 2007 so I am sneaking in a trip for my son during his fall break (which is really just a two days off for a statewide teaching convention)……We arrive on Thursday 10.26 at about 1pm. We plan to use the ME service and we are staying at POP…..I need help figuring out a park plan that will work for us…….My plan is to do MMNSSHP on Thursday evening if possible but wonder how long we should plan to be at the airport waiting and then in transit to the hotel, etc……I know the program starts at 7pm but you can enter the parks as early as 4pm. I have a ressie at Crystal Palace at 4:35 but think we wont make it and plan to cancel so I am not wasting the reservation….I assume all the MK places are crowded during MMNSSHP……so then we plan

Friday – MGM all day – this is my son’s favorite park

Saturday - I am not sure what park – maybe AK or Epcot but my son will want to go back to MGM (we don’t have hoppers) or to MK

Sunday – we have a very early flight on Monday am so I want the evening to be a down time – we have a ressie at Ft Wilderness at 5pm and will stay for the campfire program and then head back to Pop…..not sure what park would be good for the am only – maybe AK and then just skip Epcot (although my son did love soarin……)

Any ideas? Anyone plan to be in these parks same dates? I will have my alien green Mickey on….

I agree with byoung, I wouldn't cancel the ADR at Crystal Palace, I think you have a good chance of making it. Is it possible to move that reservation up to 5 or 5:30??
