Hi. I signed up with Fare Watcher and I cannot for the life of me interperet their rules for advance purchase tickets. I have tried printing them out so I can read them and break them up, but they are just not people friendly... Does anyone know the basic rules of advance purchase through them? I *think* it only applies to flights Mom-Thurs, but then it says no blackout dates... PLEASE HELP ME, it's driving me nuts! If anyone is brave enough to try to read them here is a link: http://dps1.travelocity.com/airgcho...t=Jan&arrival_dt=May&pref_aln=all&FromTF=true
Just click on the link to rules under the ticket price...

More important, what airline are you flying? Most tickets are non refundable. If you change dates, times, etc. there will be a charge.

What are your concerns and maybe we can help you.

I don't have a specific airline I'm looking for, just the cheapest which as of right now looks like Northwest. Basically, befoer I purchase them I just want to make sure they're good for my selected dates (4/30 depart and 5/7 return- both Sundays) and that there's no hidden complications, such as bringing a lap child.

OK. Don't bother with the rules. When you get the notice of a good fare or you find one on the farewatch page, just click. That will take you to a screen that says check availabilty. A calendar will appear with the "avaiable" dates. That will tell you what you want to know.
