My wife and i will be visiting WDW in November of this year. For the first time, we will be purchasing Annual Passes for both of us. We are also DVC members.

Can you guys give us some info on the Tables in Wonderland Cards? I looked at the info that was on the DIS and on Disney's website and kinda got confused.

Do you get 20% off on all meals at participating restaurants? Liquor too?

Do I need to buy a TIW card for each of us?

How long is the card good for?

Is it worth it? We already get some discounts for being DVC members

Thanks

===>yes

Do I need to buy a TIW card for each of us?

===>no, so long as you're together when you use it

How long is the card good for?

==>I believe it's 14 (maybe 15) months

Is it worth it? We already get some discounts for being DVC members

==>I think so, if you buy any drinks the 20% really can add up

  1. Yep. 20% at all participating restaurants. Entrees, apps, sides, desserts, alcohol, specialty drinks, etc.
  2. 1 card covers up to 10 people at the restaurant. So, if it's just the 2 of you (or up to 10 of you), you're golden.
  3. Roughly 1 Year I believe (may be a couple extra months, not entirely sure). Not tied to your AP either from what I know.
  4. I have no comparison to the DVC discounts, but if you spend at least $375 while using the TiW card, you have saved the same amount that you spent on the card. Any other savings is bonus.

Yes the TIW will be good for more than 1 year, my experience is that it's good through the end of the subsequent month of purchase. Example, we purchased on Feb 5, 2010 and the TIW expired on March 31, 2011.

Some CS are included as well all values and AK has a few (no gratutiy added either!)

Also, you will save a slight amount over the 20%, the taxable total is on the lesser amount. So if your total is 100.00, the tip will be calculated on the $100 (18) but the tax will be on the $80! So a little bit more of a savings!

To see if worth it in comparsion to the discount you already received kind of calculate it using menus both ways. Hard for an outsider to know your ordering preferences. We found TIW a great value and made up the cost on the first stay (we did have 6) Also, if using Values, a good deal since you can use it there at the food court. We even got the discount on our mugs!
