Need help with room rates, please.

I have been to Disney many times but I have never stayed on the property. I am looking at a value resort for just 3 or 4 nights the first week of January '06. Can I get a better rate than what the website has to offer? I know this is value season, but I was wondering if there are lower rates through anyone else.
