Need help with rental car deal.

Ok so I'm looking to rent a car for our end of June trip. Would be picking up the car from RDU airport. Looking at either starting renting June 25th 5pm or early June 26th like 6pm until July 3rd 5pm. Will need a Suv. We have 4 adults and a 14yo teenager going on the trip. The best deal I have found is for 394 through southwest using enterprise. If anyone could help find a better deal I would much appreciate it! Thanks!

Since you seem to be from NCand would be picking the car up at RDU, I would guess you live in the Triangle area. First of all, if possible do not rent from an airport location. There are a lot of fees that get added. These fees even apply if you are renting from an off-airport location that provides pickup from the airport.

You might check with a more local Enterprise location. Also if you contact them directly they will not have to pay a commission to SWA.

Stay near Wilson. Will try to find out if there are any rental places closer to home that could give us a better offer. What rental car agencies do u prefer?? This will be our first time renting a car.

If you have never rented a car before I would suggest that you look at your current automobile policy. Most auto policies cover a "temporary substitute automobile" and provides the same coverage as you have on your own car for up to 30 days. This means that you do not have to take or pay for the insurance offered by the car rental company. They may ask for your insurance company name and policy number.

Personally, when I rent a car I use National, but I belong to a program where I pay for an Intermediate and can pick almost any car on the lot for the same price.
