Need help with photo pass extention plse.

I'm asking for help from all you experts out there please.
I pre- ordered my PhotoPass and have been having issues ordering it. Long story short I spoke to someone yesterday that said I can get an extention on my experation (expires today). And I can do it online. Well, I can't find where to do that.
Can someone please tell me where I can order that extention. BTW....it is no longer free. They now charge for an extention.

Any help would be appreciated. TIA
 
Who did you talk to? Why couldn't they do it? If they were with photopass they should have been able to give specific instructions on how to do it online, but really they should have just done it for you.

I see nothing in the Help section. So I would just contact them again, either by phone or through their contact forms. When I needed help I used their email forms, and at the same time another Dis'er was having the same problem and phoned...I got a few emails back and forth while she played phone tag, and I got my problem solved faster than she did. So I like the email forms.

That's what I would do. Be as specific as possible. Your account's email address, a photo card ID number, that you need an extension on the pre-order code expiration date, why you need an extension if there have been problems getting your pictures worked out, etc etc.

Has your code actually expired yet? That might be the whole problem there, it might not have expired so they can't do anything about it now.

I really doubt they charge for an extension of the pre-order code you received, but I guess anything's possible...but since the person on the phone couldn't do it for you right then, I have doubts about if they were actually with photopass, so their charge-for-extension info is suspect, to me, anyway. :)


What has been your problem with ordering the CD?
 
i wouldn't pay for an extension! i would cancel my pre-order saying i wasnt satisfied (100% money back guarantee for any reason) and then replace a preorder. as long as you haven't entered in your photopass numbers you can preorder even if your trip is already over.
 
I spoke to 2 different people yesterday from PhotoPass #. The first person was of no help at all. She just wanted off the phone. I called back and got a male this time. He was alittle more help, but, told me I would have to go online to get the extention. He is also the one to tell me Disney now charges for the extention. The prices are $ 4.95-$19.95 The pricing depends on the length of time you are requesting.
 

I think you mean an extension of the 30 days from uploading you have on your pictures right?
Not an extension of the photo pass pre-order code, correct?
The codes do expire after 60 days but can be reactivated.
It took me two weeks to get mine straightened out.
I am expecting trouble in December too...;)
I pre-ordered my CD back in JUNE when the 15% off code was offered. :rolleyes:
I have a direct number... not sure who you were calling...
But maybe it's a different number.

Just curious: Does this mean you really never have to pre-order? You can just wait until your trip is done to do it? I would love to do it later; because, you could pick your time to do it and you wouldn't have to pay for it now.
Does this really work? Have you done this?
 
when you are logged in go to photo products it is listed under there. you have to ckick on photo products not just look at the menu that auto comes up.:wizard:

I am so disappointed that you have to pay for the extension. Can they nickel and dime us anymore. We already paid over one hundred for the CD. Their web site is so slow. I also bought a photo book. 30 days just is not enough time!!! arrggh!! I am actually working on mine right now and have to come over here to get my frustrations out while it loads the picture tick tock tick tock tick tock!! sorry rant over!
 
When I called to get mine they said that they could do it ten days prior to expiration.. I just needed to call and they would send me a conformation email. There's no way to do it online. And it was free. This was just two weeks ago.
 
Called and got mine extended less than two weeks ago for 10 days. No fee. told them It was taking forever to make my book because the site was so slow. Asked if my code was going to be OK they said it should be if purchased with last 60 days.

Checked it was past 60 days e-mailed this time re-confirmed extension and requested code be reactivated. Got email back saying it was done and give me exact code again. No fee involved.
